Mass of Christian Burial for Geama M. Conatti (nee Berasi), age 94, a Wickliffe resident for nearly 60 years, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. She passed away February 22, 2024 after a short illness.

Born May 19, 1929 in Cowanshannock Twp., PA, to the late Battista and Della (nee Philippi) Berasi, Geama grew up with four siblings in the small town of the Rural Valley. She is the last member of her immediate family to pass away.

Geama was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Wickliffe. A homemaker for most of her life, she also worked as an inspector at General Electric Nela Park in the lightbulb division. Cooking and baking family recipes was her passion, and she was happiest when feeding and entertaining her family and friends.

Geama is survived by her sons, Victor J. (Linda Trask) and Rick (Amy Molder); grandchildren, Kristin (Chris Hair), Ryan (Rina Russo) and great grandchildren, Camille and Rocco. She will be remembered lovingly by these family members and her many nieces, cousins and close friends.

Geama was preceded in death in death by her husband, Victor L. in 1989; daughter, Cheryl Ann in 1973; siblings, Amy, Josephine, Blanche (Walter Leshock) and Louis (Hellen Csom); daughter-in-law Trese Conatti.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Sunday, February 25th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband and daughter.
