Frank Trebar, age 82, of Wickliffe, passed away January 27, 2025 after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was the beloved son of the late Anton and Marija (nee Luskovec) Trebar.

Frank was born in Britof, Slovenia, he later ventured to Cleveland, Ohio as a young adult, where he met Mary, the love of his life.

Frank dedicated 31 years to his career at Lincoln Electric, retiring at 55, which gave him and Mary the freedom to fully embrace life. For two decades, they spent their winters in Daytona Beach, Florida, soaking up the sun and strolling along the beach. Fall was Frank's favorite time of year, and he loved taking walks in the park to admire Ohio's stunning autumn colors.

He was also a passionate gardener, mushroom hunter, hiker, and lover of polka music. Frank's legacy of kindness, compassion, and devotion to his family will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Frank was the beloved husband of almost 62 years, Mary L. Trebar (nee Hiti); dearest father of Lorena Deyman (Patrick), Frank L. Trebar (Ann), Richard Trebar (dear friend Bob Ruth), Valerie Marcinko, and Kathy Modica (Fiancé Larry); devoted grandfather of Frank L. Trebar, Jr. (Cassie) and Robert Trebar; dear brother to his sisters, Mitzi and Milka of Slovenia, and his late brother, Anton.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 PM ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD AT THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, WHERE THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 3:00 TO 6:00 PM. Inurnment will be private.
