Services for Frances M. Ozanick, 91, of Concord Twp. will be at 10 a.m. March 23 at St Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Twp. Frances passed away March 18, 2017, at Altercare of Mentor in their Speret Hall under the care of their wonderful staff and the Hospice of the Western Reserve. She suffered several years with Alzheimer's. Born November 5, 1925, in Cardale, Pa. she had lived in Maple Heights before moving to Painesville Township with her late husband, Elmer, and then living for 4 years with her daughter Nancy and husband Pete in Concord Township. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Parish and served on their Bereavement Committee for several years. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered at Altercare administering communion and distributing ice cream to the residents. Frances is remembered for her good nature, quick wit, and ability to make people laugh. Survivors are her son, Lawrence (Sharon) Ozanick of Medina; daughters, Nancy (Peter) Gamier of Concord Twp. and Frances (Steve) Uveges of Sagamore Hills; grandchildren, Stephanie (Barry) Cook, Nicole (Ken) Bartolozzi, Peter Gamier, and Alexis Ozanick; and great-grandchildren, Brady, Ella, Hannah, Cheyenne, and Xavier. Her husband Elmer; brothers, Louis, Frank, John and Charles Bayorek; sister, Margaret Podobinsky; and grandson, Jason Uveges, are deceased. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the Orlando -Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will be Thursday at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. Please meet at the church the morning of the funeral mass.
