Elsie F. Weisbarth, age 97, passed away May 25, 2017 in Smithfield, Virginia. She was born January 3, 1920 in Cleveland. She was a former resident of Wickliffe. Elsie worked for the Wickliffe City Schools, retiring in 1982. She served as a poll worker for 20 years, worked at bingo at WICCI for 20 years, volunteered at Wickliffe Recreation's Arts and Craft Fair, volunteered as a senior citizen for Meals on Wheels for 23 years and enjoyed bowling, fishing and going to the movies. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pat Weisbarth of Smithfield, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard and son Alan. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017 at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio. Please meet at the cemetery gate. At Elsie's request, there will be no calling hours.
