Mass of Christian Burial for Edward "Eddie" H. Francis, Jr., age 62, of Kirtland, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Divine Word Catholic Church 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland (Please Meet at Church). Eddie passed away peacefully December 9, 2020 with his family at his side. He was born on December 2, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM.

Eddie was raised in Wickliffe and was the founder and owner of The Kirtland Car Company for over 30 years. He was a parishioner of Divine Word Catholic Church. Eddie was a gentle giant, he treated everyone he met like family.  He had the best and biggest hugs.  His favorite passion was being with his wife and children, he was a family man with family values and he loved our Lord.  He loved his home with all the acres and animals.

He loved getting on his tractor and cutting the grass, sometimes getting to close to the pond and ending up in the pond with tractor (to those of you that know that funny story)…it was the best.  His happy place as we call it was Florida, vacationing with his family and many friends throughout the years.  He loved the beach, palm trees and drinking an ice cold corona sitting in his lounge chair and getting that dark tan he always had.

Eddie was the beloved husband of Rennada (nee DiRusso); dearest father of Anjelica (Fiancé Dean Littleton) and Angelo (Kristin); devoted grandfather to many fur babies; loving son of Adeline (nee Ferrante); dear brother of Debra (Scott) Miller, David and Carla; dear nephew of Carmella Ferrante and many other aunts and uncles; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear cousin of Linda Cappelli-O'Brien and many other cousins; dear friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his father Edward, Sr. and his grandmother Louise Ferrante (nee Buttari).

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe on Thursday December 17, 2020 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Masks Required with Social Distancing and Occupancy Limits). Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
