Mass of Christian Burial for Edward G. Dobransky, age 96, of Wickliffe, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Edward passed away March 2, 2022.

Edward was born on December 31, 1925, in Euclid, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked at TRW for 40 years. After retirement, he volunteered as a Meals on Wheels driver for 21 years. Edward was a handyman who could build and fix anything. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, gardening and growing houseplants, and working jigsaw puzzles. He enjoyed many vacations to New Brunswick, Canada. He was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Edward was the beloved husband of Sybil; dearest father of Elaine; dear brother of William of Mesa, AZ, and of the late Mary Gyulveszy, Elizabeth Stocker, and Anna Kollar; dear uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was loved by his pets.

The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Monday, March 7th. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to a charity of your choice.
