A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. Delores passed away peacefully March 18, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Delores was born on July 16, 1936 in Decatur, IL to the late George and Laura (nee Starkey) Morey. She was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Zion High School in Decatur IL. She was well known for her sense of humor, love of shopping, beautiful radiant smile, and delicious home cooked meals. She loved animals, hummingbirds and was a very generous, friendly and approachable person who never met a stranger. She loved family get-togethers and spending time with those she loves. She loved listening to Adrian Rogers and had a strong faith in Christ. She is now eternally home with Him.

Delores was the beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" Gelin; dearest mother of Mark (Laurin) Gelin, Jeanne Gelin, Mary (Richard) Brunner, Robert (Connie) Gelin, Richard (Lyn) Gelin, Joan (Tracy) Johnson, and Karen (Donnie) Wibert; Proud grandmother to seventeen grandchildren and great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her four sisters and two brothers.
