Funeral mass for Charles E. Smith, age 83, of Timberlake will be at 10:00am Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Mr. Smith died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Lake West Medical Center. Born March 1, 1934 in Cleveland he was a U.S. Navy veteran, had worked as a foreman for Ohio Bell, a member of American Legion Post 0214 and St. Justin Martyr Church. Charles is survived by his wife Audrey T. (Werner) Smith whom he married 63 years ago, daughter Karen M. (Robert) Mitchell, grandchildren Amie Piorkowski,Morgan Mitchell, Charles Mitchell and Taylor Smith and brother-in-law Ken Benedum. He was preceeded in death by his son David C. Smith and sister Carol Benedum. Friends may call Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Entombment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
