Funeral services for Charles E. Hoffman, age 83, of Wickliffe will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 2nd at Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby. Mr. Hoffman died November 25, 2017 at Lake West Medical Center. Born January 1, 1934 in Blairsville, PA he was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, a former member of the Covenant Baptist Church in Wickliffe and had been employed as a draftsman at R.W. Sidley. Charles is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Walker) Hoffman whom he married 60 years ago, Sons, David C. of IL, Douglas A. (Diana) and Andrew W., grandchildren, Ian, Daniel ,Erin, Benjamin, Samuel, Madison, Nicole Shirey, and Anthony Nista and great grandchildren Lincoln and Emilia Shirey and sister Margaret "Peggy" Anderson. He was preceeded in death by his son Peter J. and sister Lois N. Hoffman. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 1st at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Lung Assoc., American Lung Assoc or the Willoughby United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Knollwood Cemetery.
