Carole M. Orozco (nee Hayes), age 86, of Painesville, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on December 28, 2025. Born December 26, 1939, to the late Lawrence and Helen (nee Buynak) Hayes. Carole prioritized family above all else and lived every day to the fullest.

Carole was the loving wife of Anthony Orozco. They were married for 22 years before Anthony passed away suddenly following a brief illness. She was a devoted mother to Carla Anne, Laura Ann (David) Berger, Michael Anthony, Lawrence John (Veronica Wadsworth) and John Joseph (Cristina Areyano).

Carole was also a loving sister to Joan Schulz, Jeanette Hayes, Daniel Hayes, and of the late Lawrence Hayes, Patricia Yerman, Sandra Jenovic and Thomas Hayes; adoring aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Carole worked for several years at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield. She was a member of the East Side Irish American drill team participating in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Cleveland for over 10 years, loved to polka dance and later in life took up golf. Carole also took art classes and discovered a true love of art.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will be private at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. at a later date.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 2ND FROM 3-7 PM.
