Carol J. Slater (nee Babcock), age 89, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away June 14, 2023. She was born on September 19, 1933 in Cleveland, OH to the late James and Jeanette (nee Arbuckle) Babcock.

Carol was very involved with the Girl Scouts where she was leader and also worked at the council's office as a clerk. She also loved traveling with her husband prior to his passing.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Donald E.; dearest mother of Donald Scott (deceased) and Lori (Matthew) Mizak; devoted grandmother of two and great grandmother of three; dear sister of Jim Babcock and Lois (Walter) Baker.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Tuesday, June 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21st at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
