Funeral mass for Basil Casella, 100, of Wickliffe will be at 10 am. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliife. Mr. Casella died Friday, December 15th at home. Born January 18, 1917 in Cleveland he had worked as a truck driver at Norwalk Truck lines, was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. Mr. Casella is survived by a daughter, Marie Antoinette Petti; grandchildren, Anna Marie Longo, Joyce Miller, Nicholas Petti, Joyce Menko, Basil Casella and Rocco Casella; 16 great granchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Joyce (Artino) Casella, son Vincent J. Casella, four brothers and a sister. Friends may call 4-8 pm. Monday, December 18 at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe Entombment will be at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts.
