Barbara J. Saletel (nee Palumbo), age 76, of Wickliffe, passed away May 5, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born on July 27, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late Michael and Rose (nee Janecek) Palumbo.

Barbara was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she also taught PSR for 15 years and was also involved with the former Isabella Guild of the Knights of Columbus. She was an avid artist and reader and loved to sing in church for which she was well known for.

Barbara was the beloved wife of Charlie; loving mother of Therese (deceased), James, Kathleen and Rose; loving dog mom to Lola and Bosco; dear sister of Michael (Gloria) Palumbo (both deceased), Rosemary (deceased) (Norman) Knebusch, Susan (Donald) Manno, Dennis Ineman (deceased), Clifford Ineman (deceased), and Lois Bidgood (deceased); dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
