Andre Eugene "Gene" Robinson, age 88 of Willoughby Hills, passed away on Thursday, January 18th at Burton Healthcare. Born on February 22, 1929 in Cleveland, he was a US Army Korean War Veteran and a retired sheet metal worker and member of Local 33 for over 50 years. Gene enjoyed going dancing with his wife Betty, restoring cars and boats, doing repairs for friends and family, Jazz music, his dogs, traveling to flea markets and antiquing with Art and Jeannine Boyle.

After 66 years of marriage, Gene lost his wife Betty L. (nee Frecker) in June of 2017; Loving father of Michael E. (Andrea), Thomas (Barbara), Loreen M. (Anthony) Robinson-Detota, Lynn M. (Alex) Donofrio of TN and Katherine A. (Craig) Miracle. Beloved grandfather of Monica and Mallory Detota, Lindsey (Gary) Jones, Lee (Jaimie) Robinson, Jake (Mary) Robinson, Sara Robinson, Lacey (Shawn) Horwitz, Alex (Deanna) Donofrio, and Kayla Miracle; Great grandfather of Brogan and Everly Jones, Annie and Grant Robinson, Elizabeth Robinson, and Benjamin and Annabelle Horwitz.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 PM Monday January 22nd at The Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gene's memory to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44110.
