Alex J. Donofrio, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022.

Alex also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He often bragged about his service to anyone that would listen to him. Alex has joined his wife Elsie (nee Lannum), who passed away in March of 2003, whom he has missed dearly since her passing.

Alex is survived by his daughter, Jane Raphael (Mark, deceased) and son, Alex, Jr. (Lynn); four grandchildren, Alan (Stephany), Lacy (Shawn), Geoffrey, Alex III (Deanna) and five great grandchildren, Ally, Benjamin, Ryan, Annabelle and Elio; also survived by many nieces and nephews!

Alex loved golf and football, Go Steelers! Notre Dame and Penn State! He enjoyed his grandchildren when they were growing up and enjoyed seeing two of his great grandchildren when visiting. Alex will be missed by his family and many friends.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 13TH FROM 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM WITH A FUNERAL SERVICE TO FOLLOW AT 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
