Funeral Services for James F. Pecjak, age 76, of Willowick and formerly of Wickliffe, will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5th at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mr. Pecjak was born on February 12, 1942 in Cleveland, OH and passed away peacefully on August 29, 2018 at the David Simpson Hospice House.
James graduated from Wickliffe High School in 1960 and attended Fenn College afterwards. James loved baseball and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He enjoyed classic cars, going to casinos, traveling, and listening to country music.
James worked for GE-Nela Park in Furnace Design Engineering and retired after 30 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 55 years and high school sweetheart Patricia (nee Vance); dearest father of Scott (Terri), Cheryl (Brad) McGovern, and Cindy (Shane) Newberry; devoted grandfather of Kyle, Kelly, Kevin, Courtney, Reilly, Trevor, Austin, Brennen and great-grandfather of Quintin and Lola; dear brother of Frank (Irma) Pecjak and Carol Ann (Joseph) Brooks; dear brother-in-law of Bob (Jan) Vance and Jerry (Jill) Vance.
James was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Susie (nee DiVito) Pecjak.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery.
