Evie passed away on July 5, 2018 and was born in Export, PA on July 26, 1928. She was an active lady and always held a job working in factories, jewelry stores, drug stores and you may remember her friendly smile from the Wendy’s drive thru not too long ago.
Evie loved animals and always had a pet who she would say was her best friend. Pumpkin, Amie and Boots will be happy to be reunited with her in heaven. She had a fondness for gardening and took pride in keeping flower beds in order and decorated with various ceramic garden creatures. Evie was famous for her cooking and made home cooked meals for her family for their whole lives. Her from scratch specialties included pizzelles, chicken dumpling soup and home fries.
She is survived by her son Thomas and daughter Janet Musselwhite; granddaughters April (Brent) Nenadal, Amanda (Dan) Collins and great grandmother of Oliver, Simon and Violet, whom she loved dearly.
Evie was preceded in death by her parents, 12 siblings and her daughter-in-law Cynthia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday July 7th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Private burial in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Evie’s memory to the Cleveland Animal Protective League 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113.
